My review of season one. No spoilers.

I don't think I've ever actually properly recced a vid before, but I guess better late than never.

I'm plugging this particular one because I think it's really accessible to people who aren't familiar with The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Anyways, it's a John/Cameron vid and I think it sums up pretty much why I love them as a couple - because it's just so wrong (and yet so right *sleazywink*).

This was the first piece I've come across by this vidder, and I'm quite impressed by the sharp editing, with urgent cutting and some very engaging lyrical connections. It's a really dynamic vid (and if you take the time to read over the lyrics, a damn dirty one too heh). I like it because it's a little dark, and a lot twisted.

I'm starting work on a John/Cameron centric vid of my own soon, although I'm aiming to try and take a more subtle approach, but the 'in your face' parts of this vid reminds me of the things I love about this pairing and that I want to be the underlying elements of my own vid.

My first message in yet another new journal.

First off, I'd better get to the point for those people who have received friend requests from me. I've been absent from LJ (and fandom as a whole) for quite a while but hopefully some of you haven't forgetten about me yet.
This is Adam - or more specifically zeronephilim, folding_stars, escapeartist, and whatever other handles I've used in the past, and could be found pimping my vids around LiveJournal, Mt Olympus, Reverie, etc.

I've made some attempts to get back onto the vidding scene over the past year, but those projects kind of fell flat (although hopefully a couple of them will be making a resurface sometime soon). Anyways, this journal is opening with the first project I've managed to finish in a very long time and I'm hoping that there are still some people around who are interested enough to check it out, and then I can catch up with what's been going on lately.

I don't think I need to ramble any further than this just now, but will be nice to hear from some of you guys again.
